Jamie Ritchie Swaps Scrum for Style in our Latest Collection
Andrew Brookes Tailoring and rugby champion Jamie Ritchie celebrate their love for Scottish heritage and details in our latest collaboration.
Jamie Ritchie made his professional rugby debut for Edinburgh Rugby in 2014. Since then, he has accumulated over 80 appearances for the capital club, was part of the winning team for the BT Premiership in 2015, and has been a former Scotland U20 captain.
The Scottish National team has earned an impressive five wins of the Five Nations championship. Scotland is also the current holder of the Calcutta Cup, having won against England in their last two matches, including a 20-17 win at Murrayfield in 2022.
Andrew Brookes’ collaboration with Jamie Ritchie
Our collaboration started when Jamie commissioned his wedding suit from Andrew Brookes, followed by other formal outfits for various events and award dinners. For his wedding suit, Jamie wanted to create a garment that captured the magic of the day, but be flexible and versatile enough to be worn afterwards. As his personal tailor, we captured both heritage and harmony in his suit. We opted for a combination of garments that offered a strong, but subtle link to the highland style, whilst keeping it stylish and confident.
A force to be reckoned with, working with Jamie is nothing short of a perfect match. His bold and captivating personality marries exceptionally well with our own, and he serves as a true inspiration for the Andrew Brookes Tailoring brand. As part of the collaboration, Jamie is going to showcase our latest styles and garments over the next year, covering seasonal clothing, casual and special occasion outfits.
Jamie is the latest professional sportsman to wear Andrew Brookes garments off the pitch joining Greig Laidlaw, Dunghan van der Merwe, Jamie Murray and Scott Meenagh in showcasing classic and head-turning outfits.
